Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, residents, and staff in accordance with established recipes, menu cycles, and food safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, including food cutting, mixing, and cooking
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and storing food, supplies, and equipment
- Collaborate with other dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and effective communication
- Participate in menu planning, ordering, and receiving supplies and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and supplies
Dietary Aide Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in food service, dietary, or related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
