Key Responsibilities
Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the lead teacher
Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Communicate effectively with school staff and administration
Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
Adhere to all state and center policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
Completion of DCF 45 Hours (Florida Child Care Training) – Required
High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Previous Experience Working With Preschool-aged Children Preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential
Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism
