Primary Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and Bible.
Develop lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
Evaluate student progress through assignments, assessments, projects, and classroom participation.
Maintain effective classroom management and encourage respectful behavior.
Differentiate instruction to meet students’ various learning needs.
Communicate regularly with parents and school leadership regarding student progress.
Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and student records.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school programs, and special events.
Model professionalism, integrity, compassion, and Christian character.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
Florida Teaching Certification Preferred But Not Required.
Previous elementary teaching or classroom experience preferred.
Strong classroom-management, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to integrate Christian principles into classroom instruction.
Commitment to the school’s Christian mission, values, and statement of faith.
Must successfully complete all required background screening.
