Position Summary
Our Charter School is seeking a passionate, student-centered, and highly motivated 3rd Grade Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a rigorous, engaging, and nurturing learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
The successful candidate will deliver standards-based instruction aligned with Florida's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards, foster strong relationships with students and families, and contribute to a collaborative school culture focused on student achievement.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment.
Monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments and use data to drive instruction.
Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student engagement and academic success.
Maintain accurate attendance records, grades, lesson plans, and student documentation.
Collaborate with school administrators, instructional coaches, special education staff, and fellow teachers to improve student outcomes.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic expectations.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, parent conferences, and school-sponsored events.
Integrate instructional technology into daily classroom instruction.
Supervise students during assigned duties, including arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and field trips.
Maintain compliance with all school policies, Florida Department of Education requirements, and state regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Certified Teachers
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Florida Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6), or eligibility for Florida certification.
Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and classroom management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
