Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
Locations: Gold River, CA (In-Office) & Telehealth
Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation & Incentive Structure
We offer a transparent and competitive pay structure that rewards clinical dedication and caseload growth.
- Clinical Rate:$50 per hour for client sessions.
- Non-Clinical Rate:$20 per hour for documentation, required supervision, meetings, and approved administrative tasks.
- Bonus Potential: Employees are eligible for a bonus plan based on number of client sessions per week. The bonus structure for 2026 includes an additional $10 per clinical hour for clinical hours between 21-24 and additional $15 per clinical hour for all clinical hours over 24.
- Overtime: All clinical and non-clinical hours count toward daily and weekly overtime calculations in accordance with California law.

- Expectations: For a full-time role, we require maintaining a minimum caseload of 20 client sessions per week once established. Clinicians may see a variety of clients, including adult individuals, couples, and minors.
- Future Planning: Our model is designed to support clinicians who may eventually desire to transition into their own private practice by teaching the essentials of caseload management and professional marketing.
- Client Options: We accept major PPO insurance and provide private pay options for clients. Sessions are offered both in-person at our office in Gold River and via telehealth.
Clinical Environment & Professionalism

- Presence: To ensure a focused healing environment, computers and phones are kept out of sessions, except for scheduling purposes.
- Documentation: We utilize SimplePractice for EHR; the NoteTaker AI tool is available only with explicit, written client consent.
- Dress Code: We maintain a professional appearance that reflects our brand—closed-toe shoes are required, and blue jeans are not permitted during working hours.
- Professionalism: Clinicians are expected to act ethically and professionally, and to be dedicated to the care of existing and future clients.
Supervision & Benefits
- Clinical Supervision: Regular supervision and performance feedback are provided consistent with BBS requirements.
- Paid Sick Leave: Eligible employees receive at least 40 hours (or 5 days) of paid sick leave per year.
