Responsibilities
- Provide relocation advisory services in accordance with URA guidelines and applicable regulations
- Conduct interviews with displaced individuals to assess needs and eligibility
- Explain relocation benefits, rights, and procedures clearly and accurately
- Assist displacees in locating replacement housing
- Prepare and maintain accurate parcel files and documentation
- Coordinate displacee and project status to the Project Manager
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and location relocation requirements
- Address displacee concerns in a timely manner documenting all correspondence
- Prepare claims forms and submissions for Project Manager review with complete supporting documentation
- Ensure displaced individuals receive benefits and responses within a timely manner
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of relocation experience with URA compliance
- Strong knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance (URA) regulations for residential, non-residential and personal property relocations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple parcel assignments and maintain detailed records
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-start and appropriately progress parcel assignments throughout the entirety of the project
