Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized PRN Pharmacy Technician with proven non-sterile compounding experience. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can step in to cover shifts as needed to support our compounding lab operations. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, this role will prepare and package customized medications with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Compounding: Accurately measure, weigh, and mix active and inactive ingredients to prepare customized non-sterile compounds, including creams, oral liquids, capsules, and troches.
· Documentation: Maintain meticulous compounding logs and other required documentation. Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of all compounded preparations.
· Compliance: Adhere to all pharmacy policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and relevant regulations, including USP <795> and USP <800>.
· Inventory Management: Assist with inventory duties, including receiving, rotating stock, and managing chemicals and supplies.
· Lab Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the compounding lab, equipment, and workstations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
· Team support: Work effectively with the pharmacist and other staff to ensure an efficient and productive workflow during assigned shifts.
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of non-sterile compounding experience is required. Experience with both hazardous and non-hazardous materials is a plus.
· Licensing: Active and in good standing Arizona Pharmacy Technician license.
· Certification: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from the PTCB is required.

o Demonstrated proficiency with pharmaceutical calculations.
o Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
o Strong organization and time –management skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of team.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical Requirements:
o Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
o Capable of performing light lifting (up to 20-40 lbs.)
o Able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
