- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
- Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items and assist customers in making informed choices
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to enhance their experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product visibility
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management to keep the sales floor well-stocked and organized
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment, is highly desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively
- Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions or product demos
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
