Community-Minded Project Architect / Architectural Designer
Pinnacle Architecture is seeking a project architect or architectural designer who wants their work to meaningfully support affordable housing, community health, senior living, and public service projects across Oregon. Skills and Experience That Support Success in This Role:
- Interested in contributing to projects that improve quality of life and community wellbeing.
- Comfortable working both independently and in collaboration, with access to mentorship and team support.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities across all project phases.
- Sees project constraints as opportunities for creative problem solving.
- Working knowledge of zoning, building codes, energy codes, and life safety and ADA standards, with support from project teams as needed.
- Architecture degree from a NAAB-accredited college or university.
- Oregon Architecture license preferred but not required. We actively support licensure through exam fee reimbursement, mentorship, and flexible scheduling for study time.
- Experience on commercial and or institutional projects. Multifamily housing experience is a plus but not required.
- Typically 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, and lived experience.
- Proficient in Revit.
Work Location and Flexibility:
This position is based in our Portland office with the option to work remotely up to 4 days per week, depending on project needs and team coordination. We support flexible schedules and value work life integration.

This position has an annual salary range of $62 - $82k, depending on experience and licensure status.
