Business Development Manager

Pinnacle Alloys is seeking an Outside Sales Representative based in Utah or Idaho to drive sales growth within an assigned territory. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with welding distributors, fabricators, manufacturers, and other industrial customers throughout the region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and increasing market share through strategic sales efforts, product expertise, and exceptional customer support.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-oriented sales professional with experience in industrial or welding products who thrives on building long-term customer relationships, providing value-added solutions, and traveling throughout the territory to support customers and distributor partners.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Generate new business and ensure growth of existing customer accounts; develop and implement specific customer plans and priorities in support of organizational goals and objectives 
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships 
• Present sales presentations and perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing and potential customers 
• Travel throughout territory to meet with existing and prospective customers to assess and manage current and upcoming needs 
• Partner and follow up with internal departments and team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery of orders 
• Participate in business related meetings, conferences, social functions, and organizations to boost the overall exposure of the Company 
• Develop and maintain up to date knowledge of Company and competitor products and pricing, customer trends and feedback, new products, industry, and market changes 
• Advise leadership team of any potential concerns or improvements  
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses 

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) 
• Bachelor's degree is a plus
• 3 years of previous experience working industrial distribution channel preferred.
• Valid state issued drivers license 
• Microsoft Office experience 
• Travel within assigned territory
