Pinky’s Handyman & Home Services is looking for an experienced residential technician who can independently run repair and remodeling projects from start to finish.

This is not a helper or entry-level position.

We need someone who can take ownership of the job, communicate confidently with homeowners, solve problems in the field, manage their time and materials, and deliver professional-quality workmanship without constant supervision.

Think of this as running your own service van within Pinky’s — we provide the customers, systems, vehicle, and support; you take ownership of delivering an exceptional job.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Running residential repair and remodeling jobs independently
• Managing your daily schedule and staying productive
• Communicating professionally with homeowners
• Diagnosing repair issues and developing practical solutions
• Completing projects efficiently and within expected labor budgets
• Managing materials and jobsite organization
• Taking progress and completion photos
• Maintaining accurate job notes and documentation
• Keeping customers informed when conditions or scope change
• Maintaining a clean and professional jobsite
• Caring for company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Representing Pinky’s professionally in every customer interaction

Skills We Need

You should be highly confident with:

• Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
• Residential framing and carpentry
• Cabinet installation and adjustment
• Interior trim and finish carpentry
• Door installation and repair
• General residential handyman and remodeling work

Additional experience is preferred in:

• Painting
• Flooring
• Deck repairs
• Exterior repairs
• Minor plumbing
• Minor electrical

You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you do need to be a strong all-around residential technician who can diagnose problems, think through solutions, and complete quality work independently.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of residential handyman or remodeling experience
• Strong carpentry, drywall, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently without constant oversight
• Ability to manage jobs from start to finish
• Strong customer communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and accountable
• Ability to manage time and materials effectively
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation during the training/onboarding period
