What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Baker position at Pinkerton's Bakery?
Prior Baking experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen setting is necessary.
We are looking to add a Baker to our small team of hard working and talented individuals. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in quality kitchens. The position will work 32-40 hours per week with a pay range of $22-24hr inclusive of pooled tips. Hourly pay rate is based on experience.
Responsibilities will include preparing and baking pastries, mixing doughs, cakes, pies, cookies, etc., as well lending a hand in preparing raw products, fillings, and custards. Washing dishes, putting away deliveries, mopping and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are part of the day to day requirements, as well.
Candidates need excellent interpersonal skills, be organized and proactive, have the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards. You'll need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and have convenience to Kingston, NY.
