Duties
- Support Scenic Department Staff in project execution
- Constantly seek ways to improve efficiency, quality and cost control
- Support the preventative maintenance of all operating equipment in the department at the direction of Leads
- In partnership with the Scenic Staff, daily space planning and coordination with Shop Manager
- Follow inventory control procedures
- Effectively execute processes instructed by the Scenic Staff
- Have an understanding of basic scenic art quality control procedures, and be willing to learn PS approach and accept direction to do so
- Bring a respectful and positive attitude to the team, and effectively pivot to client-related changes in the process
- Ensure production, quality, and time requirements are met to satisfy the project and in a cost-effective manner
- Maintain discipline to procedures, in accordance with safety, quality, engineering, human resources, and finance department guidelines
- See through and respect all applicable department rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of scenic painting-related experience
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and team driven
- Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- GED or High School Diploma
Pay: $30.00 per hour
