Position Summary:
Pink Roofing is growing and seeking dedicated Repair Specialists to join our mission-driven Repair Division. This role is about more than just repairs; it's about serving our community by ensuring the safety and integrity of homes and businesses through high-quality roof repairs, leak detection, and related exterior maintenance. If you are a skilled professional with extensive hands-on experience in roofing and exterior care, and a passion for helping others, we invite you to be a part of our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication and Education: Clearly explaining repair processes, timelines, and solutions to clients, and offering advice on preventative maintenance to extend the life of their roofs and exteriors.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately documenting all repairs, materials used, and hours worked, as well as providing detailed reports on the condition of properties and recommendations for future work.
- Material Management: Managing and organizing repair materials and tools on the job site and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Emergency Response: Being available for and responding to urgent repair needs, especially during severe weather events.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other team members, including project managers, estimators, and other specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Continuous Learning: Staying updated on the latest roofing materials, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
- Site Clean-up: Ensuring the job site is left clean and free of debris after all work is completed.
Position Hours:
Monday: 8:00am-6:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am- 6:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am- 6:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am- 6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am- 6:00pm
Saturday: On Call
Sunday: On Call
NOTE: These are hours for when work TYPICALLY comes in!
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience in a wide array of roofing systems and materials, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various repair methodologies.
- A meticulous approach to leak detection and troubleshooting, with a proven track record of efficient and effective issue resolution.
- Proficiency in precision craftsmanship, including the bending and installation of fascia metal, window trim, and the execution of high-quality siding repairs.
- In-depth knowledge and adherence to all safety protocols and construction best practices, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities coupled with an unwavering attention to detail, crucial for diagnosing complex issues and delivering lasting solutions.
- Strong, empathetic communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with both clients and team members to foster trust and collaboration.
