Store Manager

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll guide our staff, help create an amazing customer experience, and keep the store running smoothly through smart inventory management and strong sales strategies. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation
• Manage POS systems, cash handling procedures, and daily financial transactions with accuracy
• Coordinate purchasing and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills
• Handle administrative duties such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, and scheduling shifts
• Monitor store operations for compliance with company policies and safety regulations
• Execute marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
• Manage store budgets, sales reports, and other management reports for strategic planning

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong background in retail sales, inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing, payroll processing, and cash handling
• Knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, budgeting, marketing, and sales management
• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational skills
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 35.0 per week
