Pinji's Cafe in Wilmington is looking for an experienced Cashier & Smoothie Maker to join our team on a part-time basis. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced cafe environment, takes pride in making great drinks, and loves connecting with customers, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Greet every guest with a friendly, welcoming attitude
Operate the POS system accurately — process cash, credit, and mobile payments
Prepare smoothies and blended drinks to recipe standards with speed and consistency
Keep the counter, prep area, and equipment clean and organized throughout your shift
Complete sidework tasks such as restocking supplies, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash, and prepping ingredients
Assist with closing duties on occasion, including cleaning, restocking, and cash-out procedures
Support barista tasks as needed (training provided for the right candidate)
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, juice bar, or similar food service setting — required
Comfortable working a cash register and handling transactions accurately
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part-time schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Team player who doesn't mind pitching in wherever needed
Upbeat personality with strong communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Food handler certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
