Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues in grade-level and professional learning communities
- Implement district curriculum and instructional best practices
- Support students’ social-emotional development
- Participate in MTSS/RTI processes and student support teams
- Supervise students during assigned duties (recess, lunch, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-8) or related field
- Valid North Dakota Teaching License (or ability to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Knowledge of elementary curriculum and assessment practices
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Experience teaching at the middle level
- Familiarity with North Dakota State Standards
- Training or experience in literacy and math best practices
