Pinewood Nursing Center is currently seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. As a PRN therapist, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling while helping patients regain their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities in a supportive skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians.
- Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY considered.
- Prior SNF or geriatric experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
