Speech Language Pathologist Part-time or PRN
Job Summary:
Pinewood Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team on a part-time or PRN basis. As a PRN therapist, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule while making a difference in the lives of seniors by helping them regain their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians
- Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy techniques and strategies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Georgia state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY considered
- Prior SNF or geriatric experience is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
