### Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Dining Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents by delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dining Server will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all residents have an enjoyable dining experience.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guests are satisfied with their orders.
- Monitor and attend to guests’ needs throughout their dining experience.
- Prepare and set up the dining area, including table settings and proper tableware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist with special events or functions as needed and support other servers and staff when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve service and skills.
### Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, cafe, or similar environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu items is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying food trays.
- Food Handler’s certification may be required based on local regulations.
## Hours / Days:
3 evening per week 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 7:00am - 7:00 pm
