Role Description: The Deli Cook/Clerk is a full- and part-time, on-site role based at Pinewood Deli in Pocono, PA. This role is responsible for preparing deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot and cold foods, following established recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include operating deli equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, stocking displays, and ensuring proper food storage and labeling. The Deli Cook/Clerk also assists customers at the counter, takes and fulfills orders, handles transactions, and provides courteous, efficient service. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, reporting low stock, supporting opening and closing procedures, and working as part of a team to meet service and quality standards.
Qualifications
