In this role, you will be the primary caregiver responsible for supervising playtime and ensuring animal safety. * Pay is determined by experience and availability.
* Must be available 6:45am to 1pm Monday through Friday to be considered for this position, with the potential of more hours if desired.
- Monitor and oversee daily play sessions to ensure dogs interact safely and positively, using proper animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Assist with activities to promote good behavior and social skills among the pets.
- Observe dogs’ health and behavior throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment by cleaning play areas and equipment regularly.
- Previous experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed to move supplies or assist with larger dogs safely.
- Strong animal handling skills combined with patience and attentiveness to individual pet needs.
- Ability to spend a majority of your time on foot.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with coworkers.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
