Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, desserts, or premium selections to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments with precision using POS systems like OpenTable or other industry-standard tools
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, assisting with food handling sanitation, and ensuring a tidy dining area at all times
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, offering wine or spirits recommendations based on guest preferences, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales while enhancing the guest experience
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
