As a Server, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests. You'll greet residents with a smile, take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and help maintain a clean and inviting dining environment. Every meal is an opportunity to brighten someone's day through kindness, hospitality, and exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Welcome residents and guests with friendly, professional customer service.
- Take accurate meal orders and answer questions about menu selections.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly while ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Set, clear, and reset dining tables to create a pleasant dining experience.
- Assist with tray service and special dining requests.
- Maintain clean dining rooms, beverage stations, and service areas.
- Assist with food preparation, special events, and catering as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to provide an outstanding dining experience.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently enrolled in high school.
- Previous serving, restaurant, or dining services experience is preferred but not required.
- Food Handler's or ServSafe Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A dependable, positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A passion for serving others and creating meaningful experiences for older adults.
