Role Description The Nursing staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Easton, MD, providing direct care and support to residents in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and documenting all care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Nursing staff collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans, respond to changes in resident conditions, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and colleagues. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe environment, following infection control protocols, and promoting residents’ dignity, comfort, and independence.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Nursing and Medicine knowledge, with the ability to provide safe, evidence-based clinical care.
- Strong Caregiving and Patient Care skills to support residents with daily needs and rehabilitation goals.
- Effective Communication skills to interact professionally with residents, families, and the care team.
- Active nursing license (LPN, RN, or CNA1) in the state of Maryland.
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, stand for extended periods, and perform moderate physical tasks.
- Commitment to person-centered care, confidentiality, and adherence to all safety and infection control policies.
