Care Connector (Full-Time, Contract Position)

Pines Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and engaging Care Connector to serve as the first point of contact for individuals walking into Pines for services during business hours. This role plays a critical part in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for individuals taking an important step toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome individuals in a professional, respectful, and supportive manner
• Help individuals feel comfortable and supported when seeking services as a result of lived experience
• Assist with Same Day Access intake registration, scheduling, and service orientation
• Conduct initial screenings for health and safety risks, including substance use
• Provide encouragement and hope by appropriately sharing lived experience, when applicable
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth intake process

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in a variety of situations
• Lived experience with substance use with sustained recovery
• Willingness to obtain certification as a Substance Use Recovery Coach (required; employer-paid)
