Behavior Treatment Specialist: Full time union position (40 hours) providing consultation and behavioral expertise for persons of all ages with challenging behaviors. The Behavior Specialist, with either a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to perform functional behavioral analysis (FBA) assessments and develop clear, effective and plans based on the FBA, person centered planning and collateral input, directed towards meaningful outcomes for individuals. In addition, the BCBA / BCaBA will ensure consistent application of recommended interventions by others who may be delegated to implement the plan, and will provide the training and technical assistance needed. Additionally, the BCBA / BCaBA will provide input and expertise as it relates to developing and implementing services provided directly by Pines for individuals building the skills necessary to functionally improve responses to their environment. Qualifications include certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as either a BCBA or BCaBA, and applicable Michigan licensure. BCBA supervision included at no expense to the qualified applicant. Concurrently licensed by the State of Michigan as a TLLP or LLP is ideal, but not required. Salary range for BCBA is: $67,475 - $92,726 commensurate with experience. Salary range for BCaBA is: $56,680 - $81,972 commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefit package.
