Veterinarian - New Grads Welcome!

Seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Veterinarian to join our current 2.5-doctor team! Excellent mentorship opportunities are available so new grads are welcome to apply!

What to Expect 

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year pro-sal

Location: 2826 W Church St, Pine Plains, NY 12567

Schedule: Open to full-time or part-time, flexible options available                   

Hours of operation:

• Monday through Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm
• Saturday: 7:30am – 2:00pm
• Sunday: Closed

About Pine Plains Veterinary Hospital 

Pine Plains Veterinary Associates has been proudly serving the community since 1932, when Dr. Edward Sadler founded the practice on Farview Avenue in Pine Plains. Originally focused on farm animals, the clinic steadily grew in size and reputation, later expanding its services to include companion animals. The facility underwent major additions, followed by a full renovation in 1994 that marked its transformation into a modern, small animal-focused practice.

Over the years, we’ve continued to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our patients and clients. Our hospital now features digital radiography, in-house laboratory equipment, an advanced surgical monitoring system, and other modern tools that support the highest standards of care.

Our experienced team of veterinarians, licensed technicians, and dedicated support staff work together to provide exceptional medical care and a warm, community-focused environment. The doctor team brings decades of experience and is passionate about mentoring new graduates while staying open to fresh ideas and new developments in veterinary medicine. This mutual exchange keeps our practice progressive and our quality of care strong.

Requirements:

• New York State Veterinary Board License - must be in good standing, prior to start date
• Flexible work schedule, with availability to work some weekends and holidays (as necessary, per hospital)
• DVM or VMD level degree required
