Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Funeral Services Department. The Funeral Services Department works directly with family members and funeral directors. The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating burials, scheduling funeral services, and updating various systems. Additional responsibilities as needed.
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for both Administrative and Customer service duties that include and are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate and schedule all aspects of funeral services, including location, transportation and other necessary components.
- Maintaining accurate records, including financial transactions and staterequired documentation
- Speaking with families to discuss their wishes and create a personalized funeral service plan
- Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards
- Provide information on funeral service options, products, and merchandise
Requirements:
- Must maintain a professional phone presence
- Must be an excellent communicator
- Must display and have the ability to maintain professional interpersonal skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Must have excellent followthrough and be motivated to learn
- Must be willing and able to work both independently and within a team
- Must display a neat and professional appearance
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Associates Degree or equivalent (Preferred)
- Strong communications skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent follow up and follow through skills
- Great team player
- Professional phone etiquette
Work Schedule: 8:30AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday
