General Maintenance Worker/Driver - Evenings

Additionally, we guide families every step of the way so that they feel a sense of security even during the most trying of times.

Summary

We are seeking General Maintenance Worker for an evening shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) to join our team and assist with keeping the grounds in their beautiful, serene state, all while helping with the preparation and conduction of burials. Please note that this is a seasonal/temporary position.

Job Duties

• Pick up and clean debris, weeds and other cleaning and maintenance activities as needed
• Perform light maintenance and repairs on equipment, buildings and facilities
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain the cleanliness of the work compound
• Perform gardening and landscaping tasks throughout the cemetery
• Operate various equipment (such as street sweeper, power washer, screener etc.) as needed
• Preparing and taking inventory of equipment for the upcoming workday
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must be ready, willing and able to work weekends
• Must possess a valid, unexpired Driver's License
• Must be able to comprehend and communicate effectively in English
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work outdoors under any weather conditions
• Must be able to remain on feet for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
• Must be able to walk considerable distances during the course of the work-shift
• Must be able to lift, rise and lower objects from one level to another
• Must be able to pull, push, and carry large amounts of weight (50-100 lbs.) at any given time
  
  

Starting Hourly Rate: $27.51

Employment Status: Full-time

Work Schedule: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday - Friday (plus weekends as needed)
