What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at PINELAND BHDD CSB?
We are hiring for RN's to support Pineland Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. This RN will support John's Place STR program.
Registered Nurses assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Performs comprehensive assessment of consumer's health care needs based on data collected through history, observation, basic physical and/or psycho-social examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
Develops individualized and comprehensive plans of care consistent with assessments, physicians'/clinicians' treatment plans, consumers' level of need and functional ability.
Performs direct consumer care activities by administering medications, observing and recording patient responses and medication side effects; makes rounds and administers interventions/treatments.
Performs various administrative, clerical, and documentation activities to support unit activities.
Qualifications: A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse and at least 1 year experience.
