Summary
This position is for a lead Retail Associate with the Pinehurst Retail Team. The primary purpose of this position is to lead and train retail sales staff in giving exemplary customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked and well organized Shop. This position will also be tasked with training and maintaining of certain product mix throughout the year.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years of retail experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Work with Retail Operations Manager and Retail Operations Supervisor on training and mentoring all new retail employees who will work in the Main Golf Shop.
- Communicate with Retail Warehouse on all restocking needs by using the set inventory par levels.
- Communicate with buying team on product needs that are not warehoused.
- Coordinate with retail warehouse regarding damaged product or items that need to be retagged.
- Participate in all Main Golf Shop inventories and recounts.
- Participate in the basic recovery of the sales floor and adhere to merchandising standards to maintain a clean, neat and easy to shop environment.
- Guide floor staff in best practices of stocking, sales floor recovery and customer service standards.
- Ability to act as Manager on Duty during a shift for guidance of guests and staff in need of problem resolution.
- Develop new ideas to drive sales through merchandise, contests, and events.
- Must be proficient in the use of our POS System.
- Understand Sales Goals and help to achieve set goals each period.
- Assist guests with procedure of over the phone returns and exchanges.
- Maintain all needs for supplies – shopping bags, gift cards, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Assist with merchandising of satellite course shops.
- Assist with PCC Member events as necessary
- Assist with Corporate and eCommerce events, and inventories, as necessary
