SUMMARY:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest’s needs. Speak with others using professional language; accurately prepare and review written documents. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or the equivalent required.
- Experience working in Hospitality or luxury property preferred.
- Computer software skills required.
- Must have at least two years of related work experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcoming and greeting guests with a warm welcome to our Pinehurst Home.
- Stay up to date accordingly in the latest developments to the department and overall Spa.
- Attend monthly meetings conducted by Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
- Must be able to accurately process transactions for guests. This includes, but is not limited to; checking in, checking out, book, move or cancel reservations.
- Must be able to take initiative and communicate with guests as well as management.
- Must have flexibility in scheduling.
- Must be comfortable in a high-traffic environment.
- Organization, multi-tasking and comfortable in a high-volume environment.
- Must be comfortable serving food and beverages (food is pre-packed). Over 18 to serve any alcoholic beverages. Will be asked to track food served.
- Excellent customer service and guest communication skills.
- Follow all safety and security protocols as per Pinehurst LLC. policies.
- Have extensive knowledge of services and products available to purchase.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of Pinehurst property and surrounding areas.
- Promote and sell retail products.
- Deliver daily documents to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
