Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL for a Physical Education Teacher. The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic and inclusive physical education lessons, promoting fitness and wellness among K–5 students. Responsibilities include organizing sports activities, designing age-appropriate curricula, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, and assessing student progress. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents to support students' overall development.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Education and Sports Coaching to engage students in diverse physical fitness and recreational activities
- Skills in Curriculum Development to design and implement age-appropriate physical education programs
- Strong background in Education and Teaching, with the ability to effectively communicate and motivate young learners
- Knowledge of safety protocols and injury prevention strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification is required
- Effective classroom management and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Prior experience in elementary school education is preferred
