As a Bookkeeper at Pinecrest Consulting, your primary role is to maintain precise financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations. This involves organizing financial documents and being a vital point of contact for financial inquiries. Your responsibilities include overseeing financial data, implementing effective bookkeeping solutions tailored to the company's needs, and collaborating efficiently with various departments to maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pinecrest Consulting's financial practices. Your role is crucial in ensuring transparent financial reporting and contributing significantly to the fiscal health of our clients' books.
What You’ll Do:
As a Bookkeeper at Pinecrest Consulting, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping needs of multiple clients. You will oversee financial transactions and records while actively engaging with clients, answering their questions, and ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience.
- Maintain and oversee a large portfolio of clients, ensuring all financial transactions, invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Handle account reconciliations, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and provide strategic recommendations for clients.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and other bookkeeping tools to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, offering financial insights, and providing guidance on financial best practices.
- Track and monitor client progress, handling policy renewals, adjustments, terminations, and other account-related processes.
Key Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial account management, or client services.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and other financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional client communication and relationship management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
- Ability to think strategically—not just maintain books, but help clients make better financial decisions.
- Proficiency in reconciliations, audits, and financial compliance requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. A bookkeeping certification is a plus.
