Job Overview
Busy equipment rental yard seeks a motivated, self-directed yard/shop hand. Responsibilities include assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment and tools; performing routine maintenance such as greasing, oil and filter changes, fuel checks, and pressure washing; and ensuring machines are operational. Candidate must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, collaborate well with team members, communicate professionally, and have reliable transportation.
Duties
- Assist with equipment cleaning
- Maintain the equipment, check fluids, filters. fuel and function.
- Ordering parts
- Assisting customers load/unload heavy equipment/tool rentals
- Putting equipment back in yard
- Support team members with reporting equipment's fuel and hours on check in and out
Experience
- Equipment Knowledge
- Basic Mechanic skills
- Knowledge on Gas and Diesel Engines
- Customer Service
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
