Food Runner/Garde Manger At Pine Valley Market

Do you want to work in a professional kitchen with awesome people and have a work life balance? We close at 5:00 during the week and closed on Sundays! Our open kitchen concept will have you interacting with other chefs as well as customers.

Pine Valley Market in Wilmington, NC is looking for Part time food runner/garde manger to join our team. We are located on 3520 S College Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. This is a great entry position if you are interested in the restaurant business!

In addition to hours in our Cafe/Market, hours are available for catered events.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down workstation
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, slice vegetables
• Slice & fry chips & French fries
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Weigh and measure ingredients to be used
• Assemble salads, prep sides, plate salads & sandwiches
• Make dressings.
• Deliver food to customers with a smile.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred working in FOH or BOH, Food Handling and Sanitation
• Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal
• Knowledge of kitchen basic kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve and take initiative
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be able to lift, pull, push, pick up, and put down up to 25 pounds
