DUTIES:
Special Education Classroom Aide
Special Education Classroom Aide
- Assist teacher with daily classroom activities and instruction.
- Provide individual and small-group assistance to students under the direction of the classroom teacher.
- Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and daily living needs.
- Assist with implementing student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral support plans as directed.
- Supervise and support students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and other school activities.
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to support student success.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or administration.
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with children, particularly students with disabilities, preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and related service providers.
