Job Title: Pirate Outfitters Store Manager

Primary: The Store Manager is responsible for engaging and connecting with our customers and providing excellent customer service while overseeing the daily operations of Pirate Outfitters
Purpose: Provide the Pine Tree ISD community with an exceptional experience at Pirate Outfitters
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers
Customer-centric service provider both on and off the sales floor
Problem solver focused on continuous improvement, who is always learning, open to feedback and takes action as required
Passionate about retail
Able to utilize retail technology, work the cash register and process payments
Experience creating written and visual content tailored for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Proficient in Canva or another marketing design tool
Website management experience
Video experience is a plus, but not required
Skilled in visual merchandising
Able to multitask
Basic math skills
Experience:
3 years of retail experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver the best customer experience
Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently
Seek out and engage with customers to drive sales and service using suggestive selling
Handle all customer interactions and potential issues and returns courteously and professionally
Maintain a neat, clean and organized store
Restock merchandise
Work cash register and process payments
Run daily reports and deposits
Assist with special events
Able to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 30 lbs.
Maintain and update visual design displays and store layout to maximize sales
Create ideas for merchandise
Social Media:
Work with the Community Relations Coordinator to produce successful Facebook, Instagram and Twitter content/video as needed
Create written and visual content across several social media platforms
Create content for social media including posts, reels, stories and live streaming
Build and moderate social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engaged
Design and implement social media strategy for Pirate Outfitters
Drive creations of engaging content that supports the brand
Miscellaneous:
Dress appropriately; Follow employee handbook employee dress guidelines
Follow health and safety regulations
Answer incoming calls
Process purchase orders
Process School Dude maintenance requests
Obtain quotes
Order supplies
Lift up to 30 Ibs
Other duties as assigned
Hours M-F 9:00 am – 5:30 pm; 1:00 pm -1:30 pm 30 minute lunch

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Occasional prolonged hours, lifting and moving of moderate to heavy objects, walking, standing, stooping, bending and reaching.
