What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Laborer: Carpenter's Assistant position at Pine Street Carpenters?
Overview:
We are currently seeking several local Laborers/Carpenter's Assistants for our busy summer season. This is ideal for a trade school student, college student, teacher or someone looking to see what a job in the trades is like. This requires full-time (or very close to full-time) availability, Monday through Friday.
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
Details:
*Carpentry experience is preferred but not required;
*Valid drivers license required;
*High school diploma or GED required;
*Experience with driving a truck (or large SUV-size vehicle) preferred;
*Employee will perform a variety of physical tasks to support our lead carpenters, such as delivering supplies, job site preparation and clean up, heavy lifting of construction materials, and carpentry assistance.
