What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reading, Writing, and Math Tutor- Entry Level, Direct Instruction position at Pine State Learning, LLC?
Pine State Learning is searching for reliable, dynamic, intelligent individuals to work as reading, writing, and math direct instruction professionals. The current openings are part-time, M-F.
Hours range from 5-20 hours per week. Availability from 7-9 and 3-7 Monday through Friday is preferred, and additional hours during the day may also be needed.
Hours are offered on a rolling basis upon successful training!
This is a great opportunity for career changers, partial retirees, or those new to the workforce. Our training includes research-proven methods for teaching reading, writing, and math.
Starting pay ranges from $24-$35/hr depending on experience. Individuals who have had success working with us include recent college grads, BHPs, career changers, partial retirees, educators re-entering the workforce.
Anyone who can make 'boring' things fun, or who wants to make a difference with struggling learners, and enjoys hanging out with children of all ages is welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of the position include:
- Providing fun, dynamic instruction based on each student’s needs and learning style
- Following the specific steps of the programs as designated by the program's director
- Acting in an upbeat, professional, and positive manner with students, parents, and staff
