Entry Level Tutor/Learning Support Specialist for Students with Learning Differences

Pine State Learning is searching for reliable, dynamic, intelligent individuals to work as reading, writing, and math tutors. The current openings are part-time, M-F.

Hours range from 4-20 hours per week. Two after-school afternoons are required (either M/W/F or T/Th from 3-5), and hours are assigned on a rolling basis after training is complete. We do not schedule during school-year vacations, but do have a robust summer program.

Great opportunity for educators to learn research-proven methods for teaching reading, writing, and math.

Starting pay ranges from $21-$30/hr depending on experience. Individuals who have had success with us include recent college grads, retirees, educators re-entering the workforce, BHPs. If you:

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Providing fun, dynamic instruction based on each student’s needs and learning style
• Following the specific steps of the programs as designated by the program's director
• Acting in an upbeat, professional, and positive manner with students, parents, and staff
