What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor position at Pine River State Bank?
Pine River State Bank is seeking a Loan Processor to join our team at our Pine River location. The Loan Processor is responsible for preparing and processing loan documents in a timely and efficient manner while following bank policy and procedures. A loan processor must work directly with loan officers and customers through the loan process. A strong attention to detail and accuracy is necessary and one must be able to prioritize their work load.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and process loan documents for consumer, residential real estate, and commercial loans including renewals.
- Run credit reports.
- Order appraisals, evaluations, and order flood determinations.
- Coordinate with title companies and lenders on loan closing dates and underwriting.
- Tracking insurance and keeping it up to date in the files.
- File maintenance including updating ticklers, UCC filings, scanning, filing, etc.
- Process paid loans.
- Book and check back loans.
- Assist customers with loan and payment questions.
- Maintain a strong, visible and positive presence in the community through involvement in community events and volunteering.
- Comply with all bank policies, regulations, and laws applicable to carrying out duties and responsibilities.
- Perform Notary Public service.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Preparing and scanning files for any examinations or audits.
- Answer phones
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in banking preferred.
- Proficient in computers and typing.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and general hours of work could fluctuate between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
