Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of ice cream desserts, toppings, and accompaniments with precision and care
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance their experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular or new flavors and add-ons to boost sales and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and quality
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring efficient service flow
Skills
- Experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Previous food industry or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills for guest relations and teamwork
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
