Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the site administrator, Head Teacher, or Early Childhood Coordinator, the Early Learning Assistant is to supervise activities and play of preschool children. Works as a member of a teaching team to promote active learning by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate experiences and by creating an environment in which children can experiment, make choices, solve problems and share their experiences with others; assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly physical environment. This position is 5-6 hours per day, 184 days per year
Requirements / Qualifications
Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment: Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI Proof of Tuberculosis clearance Social Security Card for payroll purposes Proof of eligibility to work in the United States • Letter of Introduction • Resume • 6 ECE units required
