Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Waitstaff/Host to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently as a Host/Hostess
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus promptly
- Take and relay customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Assist servers with guest needs, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
- Manage guest seating flow during busy hours to optimize restaurant efficiency
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, fostering positive guest relations
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery
Experience
- Previous Host/Host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food service operations and guest services standards
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are highly valued
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments can be beneficial but is not required
- Must be ServSafe certified or able to obtain certification within two weeks of hiring.
