Aseptic Cleaner

Position Summary:

Responsible for high-level cleaning/disinfecting of sterile cleanrooms as well as general manufacturing and office areas. Must be flexible and adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment.  Collaborates with production to ensure workflow does not stop or delay the production schedule and proactively helps drive overall operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains full gown and garb qualification to assist with cleaning inside sterile cleanrooms while being fully garb 

• Dry/Wet mopping of outside production hallways and office areas. 

• Disposal of all trash from inside and outside production areas.  

• Comfortable using cleaning agents and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) 

• Maintaining all necessary documentation in the appropriate logbooks or batch records. 

• Communicates frequently and works inclusively with Team Leads, Supervisors, Scheduling, MQA, Training and other site personnel to meet the goals of the production department. 

• Complies with all federal, state, regulatory bodies (FDA, DEA, BOP, DEC, OSHA) and local municipalities. 

• Observes all environmental, health, and safety policies 

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management 

• Maintains proper documentation in appropriate logbooks and batch records. 

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Familiar with cGMP and USP<797> requirements.
• Ability to reach over shoulders and bend knees.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day

Shift:  5a-1p (M-F)
