Supervisor 2nd Processing

JOB SUMMARY:

Work as part of a team having responsibility for determining line assignments and production priorities. They will also be responsible for personnel management, all food safety, quality, and worker safety in their assigned department. Rotating Supervisors shall be capable of running each department in 2nd processing. Responsible to manage all PLS employee issues and communications with their immediate supervisors regarding vacations, attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Review orders to ensure work is properly prioritized and delivered to the department’s internal customer on time.
• Complete production reports to communicate team production level to management.
• Train employees on job procedures.
• Maintain proper communication with employees, supervisors, other leads, and management.
• Follow and enforce safety guidelines, GMP, and SOPs set forth by Miller Poultry.
• Recognize and correct food safety issues.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude regardless of the situation.
