Job Status: Full Time
Reports To: Refrigeration and Utilities Manager
Grade/Level: High School (GED) preferred
Amount of Travel Required: 10%
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 2nd shift 2:00pm-11:00pm
Occasional Saturday OT will be required
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the refrigeration and utility systems while complying with PSM and RMP guidelines. This position requires a candidate that has a strong attention to detail and is safety conscious.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Must know all GMP's and plant rules
- Ability to follow safety rules
- May be a member of the safety team
- May be trained for first aid help
- Must have knowledge of and follow confined space procedures
- Must have knowledge of and follow Hot Work Permit procedures
- May help maintain MSDS
- Must pass all tests and verifications for: LOTO, pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, Ammonia system, confined spaces, and electrical safety (Arc flash)
- Trained to operate, repair, and help with training with pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lift
- Know all animal welfare rules
- Able to perform PSM-RMP checks
- Mandatory participation on emergency responder team
- Able to perform lock out/tag out procedures
- Must be able to perform daily rounds checks
- Able to grease equipment properly
- Basic knowledge of ammonia refrigeration system
- Basic knowledge of PSM documentation
- Basic industrial boiler knowledge
- Basic industrial hot water heater and pump knowledge
- Basic knowledge of air compressors
- Basic knowledge of industrial electronics including up to 480V
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Basic blueprint/ P&ID reading knowledge
- Understanding of ammonia labeling and symbols
- Must be capable of minor refrigeration and utilities rebuilds
- Must be capable of answering calls related to and involving refrigeration and utilities.
- Capable of basic troubleshooting skills involving refrigeration and utilities
- Successful completion of WMI Level 1 Refrigeration course
- Team player with a good attitude towards work and others
- Must be a team player and willing to help co-workers
- Self-motivated
- Complete assigned tasks
