Responsibilities:
The Hair Stylist enriches the lives of our patients/residents by elevating their self-image through beautician services.
- Perform haircuts, shampoos and permanents as desired by patients/residents and/or families.
- Does manicures or pedicures as requested.
- Keep daily records in coordination with business office of patient/resident beautician charges.
- Maintain inventory of beauty supplies based on supply and demand.
- Ensure that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, adheres to HIPAA confidentiality standards of the patient/resident and complies with infection control.
- Certification by the State Board of Cosmetology is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience in hair care/beautician services is required.
- Must be able to deal tactfully with patients/residents some with impaired cognition, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
